Power boats are almost infinite in design and construction. Covering a wide category, you could write a book on the topic. There are over 53 various categories of power boats and within each category there are several different models and designs. Some of the more common boats you see on the lakes in the summer are such craft as aluminum boats, bow-rider boats, cruiser boats, ski boats, fishing boats, high-performance, and of course, an all-time favorite, the houseboat. Of course, depending on what your budget is, boating can be taken to almost any extreme from the very small inflatable craft to the super yacht. If you are a weekend fisherman, you will most likely have a 12 to 20-foot long aluminum boat with a 10 to 50-horsepower motor along with a trolling motor. This
